College online ceilidhs pull in thousands worldwide
When Lews Castle College launched their online ceilidh in January, they had no idea that, four months later, they would be pulling in thousands of viewers from around the world.
UHI lecturer and musician Allan Henderson said: “The ceilidhs have been a great way for us all to pass a Thursday evening during lockdown. As I say at the start of each show, we’re here to chase the COVID blues away. People have been in touch to tell us what a tonic the ceilidhs have been, and that means an awful lot.”
