Nursery children aged 3-5 should continue to report to Laxdale Nursery tomorrow and parents will receive direct communication about arrangements for next week as soon as they are confirmed.

Provision will continue for children aged 0-3 at the old childcare centre and it is hoped they will be able to return to their new playrooms by Monday. Parents will receive confirmation of this directly.

The Education, Skills & Children’s Services Department would like to express its thanks to Comhairle technical staff and contractors at Lewis Builders for their efforts to repair the damage at Stornoway Primary as quickly as possible and to the Nicolson Institute and Laxdale School for hosting displaced children this week.
