Headteacher Suzanne Forman said: “Morag has been pivotal to the success of both Castlebay and Eoligarry schools over the past 18 years. She has quietly encouraged and supported a generation of youngsters, particularly in Gaelic medium education. There have been many lovely comments from pupils which show how much she is appreciated by them.

“Morag has also been a true asset to the school management and admin staff in her role as school assistant. We will miss her greatly but wish her all the best in her retirement.

Morag commented: “Retirement for me means being able to spend more time with my family and grandchildren plus days in the garden, plenty of sunshine holidays and cruises!”

Congrats Morag.
