Nursery closes its doors due to two positive Covid-19 tests among staff.

As a precautionary measure, the unit will be fully closed for the coming week, a council spokesman said.

All registered children should stay at home this week. A Groupcall message has been sent to all parents/guardians.

When questioned further on the cause of the closure, a CnES spokesman commented: Following confirmation of two positive Covid-19 tests within the staff team at Tong Nursery, a precautionary closure of the provision has been agreed. There are no children affected and the precautionary action relates specifically to staff.
