Poll: When do you think pupils should start returning to school?

Lockdown resulted in the closure of most schools with parents and carers taking on the role of teacher.

Children have been missing their friends and the structure of classes and lessons, while parents have had to turn their hand to supervising language and arithmetic sessions, craft time and projects. Thank goodness for PE with Joe Wicks!

But when should pupils start returning to school? A phased return in June for some pupils and some classes? Or leave it until after the ‘summer holidays’ when we might have a clearer idea if we’ve got over the worst of the pandemic?
