Inspectors impressed by care at Castlebay day centre

A day centre in Castlebay, Isle of Barra, that supports adults with varying needs living in the local community has received a glowing report for the quality of its services and staff team from the regulator of care services in Scotland.

The Care Inspectorate conducted an inspection of the service last November.

In its recently published report on the facility, it said that it was ‘impressed’ by the range of ‘excellent outcomes’ experienced by people using the centre and its services, which are provided by Comhairle nan Eilean Siar.
