The Scottish Government has introduced a grant scheme to help individuals if they are required to self-isolate during the COVID-19 pandemic.

New Scottish Government grant opens today for those self-isolating.

The Scottish Government has introduced a grant scheme to help individuals if they are required to self-isolate during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The purpose of the grant is to help ensure that people who have tested positive for the virus and their close contacts self-isolate for the required period, to stop the spread of the virus.

A grant of £500 is available to individuals who meet the criteria.

The scheme opened today and details of the eligibility criteria and the application form can be accessed on the Comhairle website https://www.cne-siar.gov.uk/social-care-and-health/coronavirus/self-isolation-support-grant.

Applications MUST be made during the 14 day self-isolation period.
