BRAVE Western Isles locals are being challenged to abseil over 50 metres down the Forth Rail Bridge to raise vital funds for Action for Children Scotland.
The leading charity is holding the fundraising challenge at the Firth of Forth on Sunday, October 21st, and is looking for adrenaline junkies to sign-up now.
Action for Children Fundraiser Clare Pieroni says: “The Forth Rail Bridge is one of Scotland’s greatest landmarks.
“At 50.29metres, this challenge is not for the faint hearted – but all of the money raised will make a huge difference to the children, young people and families we support across Scotland.
“The abseil really will be an experience to remember – so please get in touch if you think you are up to the challenge!”
The registration fee for the abseil event is just £20 and all participants are asked to raise a minimum of £120 in sponsorship for Action for Children Scotland.
The registration fee includes qualified and professional instructors, all equipment and registration on the day.
No experience is required as all training will be given. For further information and to register a place, contact Clare Pieroni on 0141 550 9022 or email her on firstname.lastname@example.org
