Be an urban detective in Stornoway ...

Scotland's Urban Past is holding a free workshop for heritage lovers to investigate and record places in Stornoway.

Heritage lovers in the Hebrides are invited to join a Scotland’s Urban Past (SUP) workshop in partnership with Museum & Tasglann nan Eilean to investigate and record the hidden history of the island.

During this free evening workshop on Thursday March 9, which starts at 7:30 and runs until9.00 p.m., members of the public with a story to share, old family photographs or information about urban places can become urban detectives and learn how to contribute the history on their doorstep to the National Record of the Historic Environment through the SUP website.
