CELEBRATING the Hebridean Celtic Festival, Stornoway church Martin’s Memorial isn’t just the festival’s live broadcast venue this week, but is opening its doors to islanders and visitors alike on Sunday July 15th for a special evening of Celtic Praise.
Rev Tommy MacNeil expands: “The idea behind it is to have worship with a Celtic feel to invite and welcome any of the visitors who are still here after being at the Celtic Festival.
“We’ll have one or two folk share a little of their faith story and I’ll be sharing a little as well. It should be a great service.”
The Martin’s Memorial ‘Evening of worship, testimony and God’s word’ will take place at 6.30pm on Sunday, July 15. The church is situated directly opposite An Lanntair arts centre and refreshments will be available after the service.
