Organised by Tong School Parent Council, and supported by the community council, and Tong Grazing Community, Santa gave gifts to all the children.

This was ahead of a new Christmas light display for the village. Supported by local ward funding from CnES, a new Christmas tree will be installed outside Tong Hall, along with new lighting to add to the festive spirit in the village.

The Tesco vouchers can be obtained from Tong Recreation Association on: [email protected] in complete confidence.

Kathryn Lamont Smith said: “Tong has come together after a particularly hard year to create something very special for our village. We need to recognise an amazing effort from the school Parent Council, The Tong Grazings Committee, Community Council and Recreation Association for coming together. We also thank CnES and cllrs Crichton, Maclean and MacIver for their support.”
