WITH a total of eight band members, plus instruments, the logistics of touring must be a bit of a nightmare but that’s not stopping ‘Dingus Khan’ as they hit the Isle of Lewis this weekend and introduce island music lovers to their unique brand of rock.

With not one, not two, but three drummers – as well as three bass players – a guitarist/singer and electric ukelele, the 16 legged groove machinery of Dingus Khan has certainly been catching the music industry attention. And most recently performed a BBC Introducing Session at Maida Vale studios at the request of DJ Steve Lamacq.

“It was mad!” said band frontman Ben Brown. “You’re sitting there and there are pictures on the walls of all the people who’ve played there – I sat drinking a cup of coffee opposite a photo of The Beatles!”

Dingus Khan perform in The Jager Room on Friday (October 26th). To check out their Maida Vale Session, visit {http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiaclJJdQN8/www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiaclJJdQN8/Click to Visit}.
