Teams from the Western Isles feature in the next three editions of the children’s games show Gleusta, on BBC Alba.

This Wednesday sees a team from Iochdar Primary School take on Fort William, next week Stornoway and Tollcross Primary in Edinburgh battle it out in the studio, and in the sixth programme in the series, Barvas Primary School face up to Sandbank Primary School from Argyll.

Gleusta, produced by Skye-based Independent, Sealladh, is a fast, exciting studio game show in which two teams of youngsters go head to head in a battle of brains, wit and agility. The series is presented by Liz Pyper & Steven MacIver, directed by Michael Hines and produced for Sealladh by Morag Stewart.

Gleusta will be broadcast on BBC Alba on Wednesday April 27th at 6.30pm repeated on Saturday April 30th at 4.55pm and on Sunday May 1st at 6pm. The programme will also be shown on BBC2 Scotland on Wednesday May 4th at 7pm.
