Adventrues return for Isle of Harris Guides

Isle of Harris Guides went out on their first adventure since March last Saturday (October 3).

The girls, aged 10-14, walked 10km to raise money for the Linda Norgrove Foundation, starting a circular route from Leverburgh pier around to Rodel and Strond.

Eilidh (13), from Tarbert, said: “It was good to honour Linda’s memory and help to continue the important work she was doing for girls in Afghanistan.”

The Guides have been meeting on Zoom over lockdown so getting together outdoors to support a cause they agree is important was very special.
