Alison Prentice is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner on the mainland, and, with the Covid-19 pandemic has been literally rushed off her feet caring for others.

So, to recharge her batteries ready for the trials and tribulation of hospital life, she took a short break on Harris.

Alison took up the story: “We were on holiday in the first week of October on Harris and stayed in Seilebost. It’s so far removed from where we live in Renfrewshire.

“The photo of the dogs was taken on Seilebost Beach on Wednesday, October 7 just as the sun started to set.

“The dogs are Shelties and are called Flash and Blaze. (Flash has the white patch on his face).”
