Pain help course comes to Barra

NHS Western Isles and Pain Association Scotland is bringing a self management programme for chronic pain to Barra for the first time this year.

It has been run successfully for several years in Stornoway and Benbecula and thanks to funding from the Big Lottery, can now expand.

Dr David Rigby said “It is absolutely fantastic news that the programme can now be delivered in Barra. It benefited pain patients hugely in Stornoway and Benbecula and we know that it will be just as great for Barra patients.”
