Appeal for witnesses to Stornoway assault
Police in Stornoway are carrying out enquiries following a reported assault in the town centre.
Around 3.15am on Saturday 22nd October, a female in her twenties was reportedly assaulted by an unknown man in the Bank Street area of the town. She did not sustain any injuries.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area around the given time to make contact. Police are keen to trace a man in connection with the incident described as mid-twenties, around 5’6, stocky build and possibly wearing a grey cardigan.
