Some damage took place at Stornoway Golf Course on July 14th at around 9.40pm an individual has been traced and reported.

Licensing act

A 36 year old man has been charged under the Licensing Scotland act following an incident which took place in Lochboisdale on July 16th.

An appeal for information is being following the report of a theft of high value items from a fishing boat at Loch Carnan Pier, South Uist.

The theft took place between 7pm on July 15th and 1pm on July 17th, police ask anyone with any information to contact them on 101. Two vehicles were vandalised (a Renault Captur and Dacia Stepway) in Goathill Crescent, Stornoway. The damage took place between 8pm on July 15th and 4pm on July 17th. Police are asking anyone with information about the incidents to contact them on 101.

Over the limit

Following a road traffic collision in the Stornoway area on the morning of July 17th a 32 year old man has been reported for drink driving.

Assaults

At around 5pm on July 15th a 20 year old male was charged with assault on another adult male at a house in the Stornoway area.

In the early hours of July 18th at a house in the Stornoway area a 60 year old female was charged with an offence under the Communications act and also reported for police assault.

Careless driving

Following a road traffic collision on the A895 Back/Tolsta road on the morning of July 18th a 22 year old woman has been reported for careless driving.

Presumption of Death

An action has been raised at Stornoway Sheriff Court to declare Paul Alliston dead.

Mr Alliston, who resided in the Lochs area, went missing following the sinking of the fishing vessel ‘Louisa’ off Mingulay on April 9th 2016.
