Beaver Bug Out

If you go down to the woods today . . . then you would probably have heard 25 Beaver Scouts busily engaged in a full day of Scout Skills!

Beavers from the Western Isles took part in the first annual Beaver Bug Out which included bases on Bivouac building, campfire cooking, arts and crafts, tent building, parachute play, tracking, map reading, compass work and using a handheld GPS unit for a mini Geocache. The event was hailed a resounding success by the adults and, most importantly, by the Beavers themselves as they enjoyed a day of getting muddy and making new friends.
