Ben Maggas to bring Saturday night delight to Stornoway

Hailed by the music press as ‘mesmerising’, ‘crackling with creativity’, ‘outstanding’ and ‘magnificent’, Maggs will be the musical Saturday night delight in the Woodlands on Saturday, May 28.

“Scotland is a very special place for me,” he says.

“This amazing land and its people have become a huge inspiration for my songs and sparked many an evolution in my writing and storytelling,” he said.

“Part of my love for Scotland is the incredible sense of wilderness that still prevails, yet these achingly beautiful places are home to many people.  When we set about planning this leg of the tour, I wanted to make sure I had gigs in the Highlands and Islands as well as the cities.”

Since the release of his new album ‘Come as you are’ in November 2015, Ben has been touring all over the UK, playing to packed crowdss and receiving rave reviews.
