Success at the charity Clisham Carry, which saw Tom Howe summit the peak on Saturday, August 30, whilst carrying a 50kg training dummy.
Tom, a retained firefighter at the South Lochs station, completed the climb in 3 hours with the support of Hebrides Search and Rescue.
John Norfolk, HebSAR Team Leader, said: “Tom’s achievement in succeeding in his goal was awesome; a real demonstration of his determination and fitness.
“I would like to pass on the thanks of everyone on the team for all of Tom’s efforts in raising much needed funds for the team.”
Tom’s clisham carry was in aid of HebSAR and the Scottish Fire Service Family Support Trust. Donations can be made online here on Tom’s Virgin Money Giving Page.
