Update to 999 disruption
Earlier today (Monday) Police Scotland was made aware by British Telecom of partial failure of the 999 service affecting LANDLINE telephone lines in the following areas:
Stornoway, Ardersier, Nairn, Cawdor, Kinlochleven and Tain.
Work took place to restore the service as soon as possible.
BT has now confirmed disruption to the 999 service affecting some landlines across the Highlands and Islands has now been fully resolved.
