Crofting Commission commitment

The Crofting Commission is reaffirming its commitment to working with Upper Coll shareholders following the decision by Inverness Sheriff Court to refuse the orders for interim interdict sought against the Commission by Calum Maclean and Kenneth Macdonald.

The interim orders would have, if granted, had the effect of preventing the Commission from fully carrying out its statutory functions in relation to this matter.

The Commission intends to update shareholders on the situation at the earliest opportunity to ensure they are fully informed.
