Changes to refuse collections in WI

The Comhairle has announced changes to the bin collection days festive season on Friday, December 25 and Friday, January 1.

Householders are requested to present their wheeled bins at the kerbside by 8am on the revised collection day.

Lewis Collections - There will be no refuse collection in the Newmarket & Perceval Road and Manor South areas on December 25.

The revised dates for these areas are as follows.

Saturday 26 December – Newmarket & Perceval Road:

Perceval Road North, Perceval Road South, Coulregrein, Sand Street, Cross Street, Arra’s Cottages, Newmarket, Benside, Newmarket Main Road, Newmarket Newpark, Gleann Dubh, Bridge Cottages

Saturday 26 December – Manor South:

Macaulay Road, Canada Crescent, Portrona Drive, Queensland Road, Morison Avenue, Bain Square, Macleod Road, India Street, Torquil Terrace, Assaye Place, Willowglen Road, Manor Drive

There will be no refuse collection in the Circle and Manor North areas on January 1.

The revised dates for these areas are as follows.

Saturday 2 January 2021 – Circle:

Olivers Brae, Seaforth Road, Seaview Terrace, Battery Road, Millar Road, Battery Park Road, Bulnacraig Street, Newton Street, Haldane Court

Saturday 2 January 2021 – Manor North:
