Final results announced in Western Isles Council Election
In Ward 8 Loch a Tuath the three elected councillors are: Donald Crichton (Independent), John A Maciver (SNP) and Calum Maclean (Independent).
In Ward 1 Barra, Eriskay and South Uist four councillors were elected: Donald Manford (SNP), Iain Archie MacNeil (Independent), Paul Francis Steele and Calum Macmillan (SNP).
In Ward 2 Beinn na Foghla agus Uibhist a Tuath three councillors were elected: Uisdean Robertson (Independent), Iain Murdoch Macleod (Independent), and Roddy Mackay (Independent).
