Fuel Theft

An enquiry is ongoing after 1,600 litres of Kerosene aviation fuel went missing from North Harris some time between 9th and 13th March.

The fuel belonged to PDG Helicopters and was dropped of at the site, near the village of Maaruig, by the haulage firm DR MacLeod.

The fuel, which can be used as heating fuel, was estimated to be worth around £1,600. All eight drums were emptied on site and left behind.
