Gaelic-Italian langauge exchange

Ever wanted to learn Italian? An associate professor from Rome is looking for someone interested in a Gaelic-Italian language exchange.

Marco Toti plans to visit the Western Isles between September and October and hopes to find someone to trade tongues.

Marco is an Associate Professor in the History of Religions and has studied a Ph.D. in Scottish Culture.

He said: “One of my biggest interests is in traditional Scottish culture, and storytelling is quite fascinating because it’s related to the dimension of tales and orality, which is almost completely lost in our contemporary world.”
