Gaelic pupils help make the news

On Thursday 15th March S1 pupils from Sgoil Ghàidhlig Ghlaschu will be joining up with around 1000 schools across the UK making the news.

The pupils are taking part in BBC News School Report, a BBC project to engage 11-16-year-olds in the news.

On Thursday at 2pm the students will be broadcasting their news, covering the stories of the day as well as their special report on Sectarianism, the effect of the recession on disposable income as well as the rise of pound shops such as Poundland.

Their stories can be accessed by clicking on the map on the BBC School Report website.
