Horshader turbine first community consultation


Horshader Community Development is holding their first community consultation day on Thursday 22nd November 2012.

This is the community’s opportunity to communicate their ideas and decide how the community revenue should be spent. The Comhairle’s Community Gateway team, led by David Macleay, will be present to assist the Horshader group to engage successfully with the community.

Mark Hull, who was the Development Officer for Orkney will also give a short presentation about their experiences in Orkney. Mark also co-ordinates Community Power Orkney and is a Director of one of the local Development Trusts in addition to being the National Technical Manager for Community Energy Scotland.

Also in attendance will be The Energy Advisory Service and Community Energy Scotland.

The community will have a choice of events to attend with two sessions being offered, the first session starting at 4pm – 5.30pm and the 2nd session at 6.30pm – 8.30pm.

A mini bus service will be available for anyone who requires transport to the event.
