Island events to mark Memorial Day

The Holocaust Memorial Day, takes place on the 27th of January each year, when communities share the memory of the millions who were murdered in the Holocaust and subsequent genocides including in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur in order to challenge hatred and persecution in the UK today.

The 2016 theme is ‘Don’t Stand By’.
