They performed this summer at the 18th Hebridean Celtic Festival – and now they are back as Fatherson return to Lewis as part of the band’s ‘wee tour’ of Scotland.
The boys from Kilmarnock bring their unique brand of altrock to the Jager Room on Friday, October 25th; with support from local-based group The Sea Atlas.
Fatherson have just released their ‘Mine For Me’ single as a taster of what to expect from debut album ‘I Am An Island’ – set for release early next year.
One insider said of the new record: “They’ve taken their time to get the album right and it really is a stunning achievement – jam packed with new songs, a huge production from Bruce Rintoul and one of the most ambitious (Scottish) altrock records in recent years. It really is that good.”
Fatherson also perform at The Arch Inn, Ullapool on Saturday 26th and the Ironworks, Inverness, on Sunday 27th before heading to Orkney, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
