Jetting off from Stornoway

Stornoway solicitor Ken Macdonald waved goodbye to a dear friend this week as his Piper Cherokee G-ATNB departed Stornoway for the last time and headed for Headcorn airport in Kent.

With its predecessor G-BRBG (1992 – 2004) it had flown many people on charity flights, sightseeing and business flights throughout Scotland and had been a familiar sight in the skies of Lewis and Harris for the last

23 years.

MacDonald commented that although nearly 50 years old November Bravo was still in excellent condition and hoped that new owner Andrew Driskell would have many years happy and safe flying.
