Andrew Macmillan (left) and Ross Macaulay have had the opportunity of a life time to learn the ropes on board one of the tall ships visiting Stornoway.
The two Stornoway teenagers were lucky enough to be selected as trainees and are now enjoying a 12 day stint of the Dutch vessel, Eendracht. They joined the ship in Greenock and will be disembarking in Lerwick, Shetland on the next leg of the journey.
Andrew is 16 and from Lewis Street while fellow crew member, Ross is 15 and hails from Keose.
The Eendracht will be leaving on Thursday afternoon but will be open to the public while she is in harbour from about 10.30 am. She is be berthed at the East side of No 1 Pier (opposite the Muirneag).
