The Lewis and Harris Tractors Charity Run from Stornoway to Leverburgh was a huge success.

Crossroads wish to acknowledge with sincere thanks the very generous donation from the organisers of the Lewis and Harris Tractors Charity Run who nominated Crossroads as their beneficiary of this year’s fundraiser.

The run took place from Stornoway to Leverburgh in time for the South Harris Show.

Leanne Macaulay, from Ferry Road, Leverburgh, drove her tractor from Stornoway to Leverburgh as part of the run – the first woman driver to do so.

The total raised so far is £2,637.

Crossroads are very grateful to Norman and Cathy Mackay, Finsbay for nominating Crossroads and organising the run.

The photo shows Leanne Macaulay presenting the cheque to Crossroads Co-ordinator, Morag Munro. Crossroads exists to give respite care in the home to carers of ill, elderly and people with disabilities and support to vulnerable people living alone.
