Lochboisdale Amenity Trust (LAT) is the most recent organisation to receive a financial donation through HHP’s Community Benefit scheme.
A cheque for £300 was recently handed over to LAT by HHP’s maintenance contractor, FES FM.
The money will be used to help towards the Trust’s objective of introducing floral features throughout the village, including the provision of hanging baskets and other improvements to the general visage of the township.
HHP were able to contribute to other environmental improvements in the area by utilising its Handyman Service and, working in partnership with community representatives, were able to help with the maintenance of public amenity areas in Lochboisdale.
The allocation of five HHP owned properties to Lews Castle College students has also been positively received.
This has restored a healthy balance of youth to this small community and has helped invigorate the area.
FES FM, as HHP’s main contractor have contributed a significant amount of Community Benefit donations to organisations throughout the Western Isles and LAT is the most recent to receive financial support from the company.
