Well in excess off 100 motorcycle enthusiasts took to the tarmac and scenic routes of Lewis and Harris at the weekend for the isles first ever motorcycle rally.
The inaugural Midge Biter saw 104 bikes make the ride from Stornoway to Rodel and back while others enjoyed the towns hospitality at the Stornoway Golf Club and neighbouring camp site.
The event also helped raise a significant amount of money for local charities with organisers thrilled by the response and the turnout of their fellow bikers.
