Mumford and Sons back to play in Stornoway

AN intimate show with Mumford and Sons sound like a good night out? Well it’s happening next month as the band return to Lewis to play An Lanntair arts centre Monday, March 7.

Just over two years ago four unknown lads from London came to play some small shows in bars and cafés around the Highlands.

The band loved the experience so much, the warmth of the Highland audience, the stunning scenery, and the odd chilly dip in a cold January loch, that they vowed they’d be back.

A million albums later, more awards than even the proudest mum’s mantelpiece could take, they’ve kept that promise.

Highlands based promoter Beyond, in association with ITB and Gentlemen Of The Road, is extremely proud to present eight intimate shows with Mumford and Sons across the Highlands.

As well as Stornoway, the boys will play at Tobermory, Fort William, Forres, Ullapool, Inverness, Lerwick and Kirkwall.

Tickets for the Stornoway show are priced at £20 and go on sale at 10am, Saturday February 19 from An Lanntair box office. Tickets are limited to two per person and are only available in person from the venue box office.
