New RP Church in Stornoway

A Stornoway fellowship started in July under the auspices of the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Scotland was constituted as a congregation on Saturday at the Culregrain Mission House in the town.

A Commission of the RPCS Presbytery travelled to the island to carry out the formalities.

Three elders and three deacons were elected and the Rev David Karoon accepted a call to become minister of the congregation.

The induction of Mr Karoon - a former minister of the Free Church in Arran - and the office bearers will take place on Saturday, October 29th.
