Donate your unwanted items to NFU Mutual in Stornoway who are collecting for Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust, an organisations that cares for injured horses and donkeys.
As part of NFU Mutual’s ongoing commitment to the safety and wellbeing of horses, the rural insurer’s office in Stornoway will be opening its doors to anyone who is able to donate much-needed equipment to the Gambia Horse and Donkey Trust.
Steven Lewis, Agent at NFU Mutual in Stornoway, said: “As the UK’s leading rural insurer, NFU Mutual understands that horses and donkeys are part of the fabric of rural life and it is therefore important to us to be able to assist with equine rehabilitation and welfare.
“All donations will be gratefully received, no matter how big or small.”
Many working horses and donkeys in Gambia suffer as a result of improper care, poor nutrition and poor management due to a combination of poverty, neglect and lack of knowledge.
If you have any of the unwanted items listed below, why not visit the local NFU Mutual office on Francis Street and make a donation to help fight poverty and support working horses and donkeys in Gambia.
