Niall Iain found safe and well

MISSING broadcaster Niall Iain MacDonald has returned to his home in Lewis after a two-week hiatus.

The 33-year-old Gaelic broadcaster had not been in contact with family or friends since May 17. However he returned to Lewis on the Ullapool ferry on Saturday, and asked that his and his family's privacy be respected.

Niall Iain, who fronts youth music show Rapal, is a popular Gaelic radio and TV presenter and producer; he is also a former winner of the Celtic Film and Television Gaelic Personality of the Year Award.
