Cromwell Street Quay, Stornoway will be a hive of bustling activity this Saturday, June 27, from 10am to 6pm for the Stornoway Port Authority’s Open Harbour Day.
The quayside will boast more than 20 stalls, selling everything from local tasty delights, seafood, ice cream, baking, patisseries to children’s workshops and face painting.
There will be an array of beautiful local arts on display, including jewellery, Harris Tweed and leather products, candles, accessories and many different keepsakes and gifts.
To see Stornoway from a waterside view, why not hire a Kayak which will be available from the marina.
The Nicolson Institute Band will be performing live, demonstrating the talented young musicians our island boasts.
The Harbour Open Day has been prepared with the intention of celebrating Stornoway Port Authority’s 150th anniversary as well as the Scottish Year of Food and Drink Festival, which highlights and promotes local cuisine and products. Stornoway Port
