In the run up to this festive season the family panto is always a big draw and this year Stornoway Thespians have put together a witty combination of two favourite stories ‘Robin Hood’ and and ‘Babes in the Wood’, with the outlawed people’s hero battlomg the wicked Sheriff of Nottingham, all in all its a classic pantomime tale of the battle of Good and Evil.

The Babes’ nanny, Nurse Norah, and Herman, the Sheriff’s cowardly, bungling and very dim henchman, bring plenty of comedy to proceedings along the way.

Can Robin, assisted by his band of Merry Men, including Little John, Friar Tuck and Will Scarlet, with a little help from the benevolent ‘Spirit of the Greenwood’, rescue the babes from the greedy, clutches of their uncle, the Sheriff, and win the hand of the fair Maid Marian?

Well, of course he can!

This is panto after all – but you’ll have to be there to find out how.

With songs and laughter, mischief and mayhem this show is fun for all the family.

The show will be running from Thursday 4th to Saturday 6th December, with shows on Saturday at 11.30am and 2pm, ideal for all the family.

Tickets priced at £9 for adults and £6 for children and can be brought from An Lanntair or their website: click here
