A series of informal events is being held by NHS Western Isles to look at the existing and future needs of those with mental health problems.
The aim is to hear from all stakeholders about how services are being used, which services are most needed, and how they could best be improved in the future.
NHS Western Isles has been working with its partners to look at the services to provide for people with mental health problems.
There is already a high level of commitment and a desire of all key groups to aim for significant improvements in services.
The public are invited to join an event across the islands to give their views.
Events will take place on December 2nd - 2.30-4.30 pm – Carloway Community Centre ; December 2nd – 5.30-8 pm - Clinical Skills Area, Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway ; December 3rd - 2-5pm - Bays Community Centre, Harris; December 8th – 3-5 pm – Castlebay Community Hall, Barra; December 9th - 11am-1pm – Dark Island Hotel, Benbecula
The mental health redesign event at the Dark Island Hotel will be followed by a stakeholder event for the Uists and Barra Hospital redesign from 1-3 pm.
