Punch gives people in Stornoway a taste of life behind bars

People with dreams of running their own pub will have a chance to make it happen, when leading pub company Punch Taverns holds an Opportunities Open Event at the Crown Hotel in Stornoway.

Punch Taverns currently has a number of opportunities in Scotland and are looking for those, who might have considered what it would be like to have their own pub business with the scope to put their own stamp on it.

There is a Punch Opportunities Open Event at the Crown Hotel, Thursday 5th June 12pm to 7pm, open to anyone interested in finding out more about pub business opportunities.

At the open event, prospective publicans will be able to meet the Punch team and view the detailed plans for the business.

The Crown Hotel is centrally located on the edge of Stornoway town centre and adjacent to the main fishing harbour and ferry terminal, with a planned investment of around £300,000.

Punch recruitment Resourcing Consultant, Sandi Bellinger said: “There are some fantastic pub businesses out there and we are inviting prospective licensees who want to know more about running a pub to visit the open day.

Our licensees have come from a variety of backgrounds, ranging from teaching to banking, with core skills, such as customer service and management, which have helped make a success of their business.”
