Queen’s Birthday honour for Lewisman

Neil Macleod from Stornoway is to be awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to crofting and the community of the Western Isles.

Mr Macleod has been a strong advocate for the crofting community through his role with the Scottish Crofting Federation and other bodies.

This summer’s Honours list included singer Van Morrison and Paddington creator Michael Bond.
