Ness was drenched in all the colours of the rainbow for the inaugural Ness Colour Run.
More than 100 runners pulled on their trainers and dived into clouds and cascading flows of colours for the brightest and most visually unique 5K the isles have ever seen.
Converted fire extinguishers were used to coat all the waiting runners and walkers with a blast of paint while pocket sized packets of paint were available for participants to buy.
The route of the run saw streaks of wildly coloured fund raisers blaze a trail through Eoropie, Fivepenny, Knockaird, Lionel, St Ronan’s and back to the start at Spors Nis.
A whopping £1,430 was raised in the end which will be donated to St Jerome’s Centre in Kenya.
