Rainbows have fun at Rainbow Riot

On Saturday 20th June the Western Isles Rainbows got together for a Gruffalo themed Rainbow Riot!

They headed down to Aline, Lochs where Donnie Morrison showed them around the Aline Community Woodland and the Rainbows searched for the characters from the Gruffalo story while they explored the boardwalk.

They had a fantastic time playing on the playground there too.

Continuing with the Gruffalo theme they listened to the story and all made their own Gruffalo mask to take home. Everyone enjoyed the day and earned a Gruffalo badge to sew onto their uniforms.

Thanks too Donnie Morrison for telling the Rainbows about the Aline Community Woodland, the leaders who organised the day, and to the Young Leaders and Guides who came along to help too.
