Celebrations were held across the islands on Friday to mark the Royal Wedding.
Croileagan tots in Tarbert held a mock Royal Wedding in Harris. Luke Johnson and Freya Macleod stood in for Prince William and Princess Catherine. As well as having great fun dressing up as the ‘Royal Wedding party’ the little ones hoped to raise money for two local charites with a collection taken around Tarbert in their wedding finery.
A Royal Cream Tea was held in Carloway Community Centre organised by the local Church of Scotland to raise funds for their new church hall. Parties and get-togethers were held in many homes for the historic occasion.
