Comhairle Leader Angus Campbell said: “I would urge people to come to the consultation meetings where they can have their say on the choices that the Comhairle faces.
“Councillors will be indicating this week what their preferences for budget choices are and the results of that will be available at the meetings.
“However, we are happy to discuss any areas of the Comhairle’s work in relation to budgets.
“If people cannot make the meetings they will be able to access the choices information on the Comhairle’s website and there will also be an additional opportunity with a Facebook question and answer session on Friday 22nd January.
