The Stornoway Gazette has four Weekend Passes for the 2014 Hebridean Celtic Festival to give away to two lucky readers.
Two winners will each receive a pair of Weekend Passes – all you need to do to enter is answer this simple question: How old will the Hebridean Celtic Festival be this year?
Entries should be marked HebCelt Ticket Competition and can be posted to The Stornoway Gazette, 10 Francis Street, Stornoway, HS1 2XE; or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org (with HebCelt Ticket Competition in subject box). And please supply your full name and contact details.
Deadline for entries is Friday, April 18th and the winners will be announced in the Stornoway Gazette out on Thursday April 24th.
The Hebridean Celtic Festival is pleased to present a trading opportunity within the festival site during its event this July for arts and craft artisans.
With the acts booked and the excitement growing, the 19th HebCelt looks set to be better than ever – and will prove a busy time for traders.
Trading will operate during the Festival opening hours on Lews Castle Green – Thursday 6pm-10pm, Friday/Saturday 2pm-10pm – and be based in a designated craft tent situated within the main arena which will be lit and pitches furnished with tables.
There is a fee of £130 per unit, each approximately 6ft width by 6ft depth, traders are permitted to bring two chairs and will be allocated two vendor bands permitting access to the main site.
Traders can apply for more than one unit, or may collaborate with other producers if they wish, providing this detail is outlined in the application form. All items must be hand crafted by the artist – no imported items or craft kits are acceptable.
And all traders would require public liability insurance and provide evidence of that together with a risk assessment for their stall on application.
Further information, including full terms and conditions, can be found on the Festival website at www.hebceltfest.com. Deadline for submissions is April 30th.
